How long we keep your personal information

At KindredAccess, we only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. This policy explains what data we keep, how long we keep it, and how you can request deletion.

Data After Account Deletion
When you delete your account, we immediately remove all personal data associated with it, including your profile, photos, messages, matches, and preferences. The deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What we keep after deletion:
- Anonymized analytics: Aggregate, non-identifiable usage statistics
- Legal compliance records: If required by law (e.g., fraud investigation)
What we permanently delete:
- Your username, email, and password
- Profile information and photos
- All matches and message history
- Compatibility answers and preferences
- Any other personally identifiable information
Your Rights
Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar regulations, you have the right to:
- Access: Download a copy of your data - Export your data
- Rectification: Correct inaccurate data - Edit your profile

Automatic Cleanup
We run automated cleanup processes to remove expired data:
- Email verification tokens: Deleted after 7 days
- Profile view records: Deleted after 90 days
- Server logs: Rotated and deleted after 30 days
